my grandmother used to read me a book when i was growing up about a yellow dog with coloured polka dots. it was an old book, even then. maybe the 60s? the only other thing i remember is that there was a line that said “and polka dotted pup said YUP” please help me figure out what book this is? it would mean the world to me. my grandmother passed away, and that book meant a lot to us.

Lately for the past 2/3 weeks Ive been feeling depress. I dont sleep regularly, Im just shopping online, and lost for words on my life.
About 5 weeks ago, I was escorted by 6 police officers b/c I called up my insurance provider to complain about the lousy service. I repeatly expressed the meds my shrink gives makes me worst. Therefore she called 911 and 6am sunday morning I was in the Psych -ER.
The doc at the ER concluded I was fine I didnt need meds, I simply needed to focus outside of my realm.
Just the past week…I saw my 3rd therapist who Ive seen only 4/5 session…She concluded I needed meds, and as of friday of this past week…He’s still pushing meds.
I studied pharamcy at NYU when I was 18, I am an art teacher/ Civil engineer student. I know what meds do and even with the detective who I befriended concurs with me.
The detective was assigned to my case after I failed to show up to teach my class. My school filed a missing person report probaby after seeing my suicide video on youtube.
The suicide attempt was 5 month ago. I was heavily depressed b/c of my girl friend and her male friends bullying me saying I was a bad bf despite I was a stay at home dad for her daughter which I rasied from 15mon old to 3yrs.
I broke up with my gf and separated as of jan 2013…due to her behavoir with male friends…
Right now Im just stuck…PPL pushing drugs in my face, but I know what I need…a good therapist in CBT…Yet my insurance provider doesnt have that available. I applied for a research program at columbia U …they said I wasnt depressed enough.
Im 33yrs…my gf/ex 26…just weird and difficult life can be with events and ppl gossiping can do to your mind.
Im just struggling what i can do to defeat this depression
