I’m currently with Vodafone and I need a new phone. I priced the Samsung Galaxy Y in Vodafone and it’s €79 but it’s only €59 in Tesco. If I buy the Tesco phone, will my Vodafone sim card work in it or will I need to bring the Tesco phone into a Vodafone shop for them to do something with it? Thanks in advance.

my grandmother used to read me a book when i was growing up about a yellow dog with coloured polka dots. it was an old book, even then. maybe the 60s? the only other thing i remember is that there was a line that said “and polka dotted pup said YUP” please help me figure out what book this is? it would mean the world to me. my grandmother passed away, and that book meant a lot to us.

Doing a Business Assignment about Internal and External Economies of Scale, but cannot find any reliable sources on Tesco’s production process. I.e, type, frequency, purchasing of materials and stock control systems etc…

He asks me in detail about each n every thing, like who was that guy who talked to u, why did he add u why did u add that guy on fb why did u share ur number, recently I got into a relationship with a guy and when I told him he said im feeling jealous im feeling weird etc etc, and after some days when he met him he said I don’t like this guy he’s not good don’t talk to him etc etc when I asked him the reason he said nothing, go for him if u want to. And by the way he never told me hes in relationship , he told me only when I told him about mine.
2nd question , why does he thinks im a fool at times? im very very introvert kind of person, ill go out only when its necessary like medical checkup, exam , imp shopping n I never party , so if we are talking about something he will say in a sec that ” u dont go out that’s why u don’t know about this” yesterday he was talking about cricket , he said all matches are fixed etc etc, I said we should not think like that, n before I could say that only new players do these match fixings n they get jailed for it always, not the old ones he just said ” u dont go out that’s why you don’t know about it” like people have written on roads, walls n shops about match fixing so that I’ll be able to see it when I go out!
I’ve 3rd question too, is not going out a big crime? I just love to stay at my home, alone. I just don’t like socializing but it doesn’t means im not aware of the world , I do watch news , I do search about gk things, but still people feel like im doing a crime by sitting at home, why can’t they just continue with their own business n leave me alone? On ebay, I was selling cell phone cases, and I just found out they were counterfeit. I bought them from DHGate, and now ebay has removed all of my listings. I am not going to sell anymore, but what can I do. I am in a lot of debt because of this.

My mother always goes to the shops but on the way home, she always talks to someone for over 10 minutes which really annoys me because if she didn’t talk to them, we would already be home.
How can I resolve this problem? I can’t just go home first because I have to help her push a trolley home.

I could do with anyone’s opinion on my situation. There is a guy who I have had feelings for for quite a long time who I met through some voluntary work that I was doing.
Anyway, we have had quite a long history of interactions, which have never led anywhere. Before I plucked up the courage to talk to him, I had already got the sense that he might be interested. He used to stare at me quite a lot when I was volunteering and then sometimes completely blank me. Once (and I think he was a bit drunk) he saw me in town and ran down the road only to turn around and wait for me to get to where he was stood, looking intently at me all the way, and then making conversation with me. Unfortunately I was so embarrassed that I only made a bit of small talk and then walked off.
I eventually plucked up the courage to start chatting to him a few weeks later. We talked for a while but then he said he needed the toilet and that was it. Anyway the next few times I saw him, he was a lot more flirty with me, and talked quite a bit about his workout regime, which I thought was quite sweet. We ended up walking through town together and then went our separate ways.
The next time I met him was at a volunteer night at the centre. We ended up talking and he told me his life story in a nutshell, how his mum was a nurse and dad in the army, and that he had been to boarding school. He also told me how he wanted to settle down and have a family, and eventually buy a property abroad. It was actually quite an awkward interaction with him doing most of the talking.
Anyway, after this we carried on chatting occasionally and he carried on covertly staring at me at the centre and then turning away quickly if I caught him looking.
A few months later I had had enough and decided to tell him that I was interested in him. Anyway, when I went to speak to him he made it easier for me by being quite flirty again. He asked if I had lost weight and said that I looked good. Then we started talking about where we live and somehow he managed to direct the conversation to sex, saying that his neighbour had just got a new girlfriend and they were making a lot of noise, and then giving me a knowing glance. He backed this up by saying that he wants a girlfriend and to settle down and have a family. But it all came from nowhere though. After a few minutes I ended up saying to him that “if I wasn’t seeing someone (which I was but the relationship was very off and on), then I would be interested in him.” He said that he was very flattered and that was that.
The next time I saw him in town and he asked me to go to lunch with him. But I said no because I didn’t have enough time (I was on my lunch break) and that I had already bought lunch but that I would be interested another time. But he never asked me again. He showed me some vouchers for free coffee once but never offered to buy me a coffee and he said that he thought a hair band I was wearing was “very pretty”. But that was it. Anyway after about three months, I mentioned the lunch date and asked him jokingly what was happening about it. He said that he had been in town every single day for the last month….and I’m assuming he meant that if I was bothered then I would have asked him sooner. I apologised and asked him whether he did want to do something. He was very casual about it but agreed, leaving me feeling that he wasn’t really bothered. But he did do all the arranging and put forward where we could go and when. So I agreed. However, I still felt uneasy about it and went to speak to him a few days later to ask him whether he was interested and giving him a way to get out of the situation if he wanted to. He said that he wasn’t interested in me in that way but would still like to meet up, and reconfirmed the time and place with me like he had done the first time. Anyway, he didn’t show up!! I waited 10 mins but nothing. I went to speak to him a week later and he said he had forgotten and that he had remembered when he got home. He promised that was the truth, but if it was he would have to have a really bad memory because I only spoke to him three days beforehand about it. I didn’t dispute him but just walked off as soon as I could. We have only spoken briefly since and he has never mentioned the no-show again.
I would be really interested in people’s opinions on the above. Do you think this guy is bothered or has he just played me?

So pretty much every time I go out to buy shirts, I really like them in the store fitting room, so I buy them. They are good and I’m still satisfied with them for a little, but then usually after washing they become too small or tight and look awkward to wear.
I don’t really know what to do about this. I only have a few shirts which I have had for 5 months now and they have never shrunk and I’ve always liked them. They are like 60% cotton and 40% polyester. They have never really shrunk and I’ve always been satisfied with them.
The only problem is, most of the clothing stores I shop at sell probably 90% of their shirts in 100% cotton. It seems to be very hard to find stores which don’t sell mostly 100% cotton shirts.
I love the shirts when I buy them and most of the time they are even too big a little bit, but after washing they just become small and most of the time I’m forcing myself to wear them rather than wanting to wear them. I’m afraid to buy large (I wear a medium) because I am afraid it will be much too big for me and won’t shrink small enough to actually look decent on me. I’m a rather skinny guy, so I don’t want to wear window curtain like shirts.
Any advice? I normally just wash the shirts in cold water since I thought they wouldn’t shrink that way, but I guess not.
